Project Description: These two sketches were used in the planning stage of my wire sculpture project.

Process: I had a watercolor version of this bird already, So I translated the design into a larger image that could serve as a template for my wire sculpture.

Lessons Learned: I had to modify the sketches from the original art.  Since the original was done in watercolor, I made adjustments to incorporate cleaner lines that could be followed with wire.
